This walk takes you through the unseen interiors of the centre of the old city away from the riverside. Walk from historic buildings to the ancient pond of a demon who held a boon from Shiva to enter the city and gain salvation. His head remains as the main object of worship. From there we move through the little known lanes, temple courtyards & ponds surrounded by classic architecture and places that time forgot.
